haha.. despite wad i felt abt some stuff it was still a very very meaningful birthday. as in there are just some people on earth that makes you feel tt live's worth living.
woke up at ard 4am to mug for the 2 lousy tests. recieved a msg frm wendy. she's like the first to wish me. she never fails to remember. thanx. alot. then i recieve msgs frm quek, manda, weemin, sandra, sheena and lotsa others. i din even think tt they'd remember. and i tot tt it'd be some shit stuff abt work. hehs.. practically my whole class and some people im not even close to remembered. im damn touched. seriously. as in i din even esp harp on it or wadeva but they made an effort to remember. even such small things such as the simple act of wishing me happy birthday made a difference to my day. really. i don't mind if all my frenz juz did this every yr. i'd be satisfied.
but things din end there.
after the tests i went to the army market wif van and cai to buy the necessary stuff for ubin camp. rushed back to cat high to have a lil briefing on camp schedule where we whined alot abt the solo hike but russell din give in despite everything. daryl volunteered to go round to make sure we're safe but u'd betta not bro. it's not safe for u either.
cai and grace haf officially become the spastic sisters. nothing to say abt u 2 man. too spas le.
then we did ropes. tried lowering van down. waliaos. the process damn funny lors. she was like hanging onto the wall and grapping my shirt. haha.. then she seemed to slide daown the side of the wall. the rest of us were laffing like mad mans. hehe..
the we did basha. partnered daryl. poor him. not only suay enuf to haf me as a partner but hammered his thumb. bled onto the bamboo. quite freaky. but he was still damn fast. waliaos.. power. haf to gif it up to him la. finished in required time but we failed. im sorry.. my fault. :p
den did sewing. vera din noe most of wad's in the sewing kit. haha.. at least betta than u in my knowledge of sewing kits!! hehe.. then another guy frm daryl's batch came to visit. name's jia hong. slacked ard after tt. toked nonsense, stoned, felt irritated.
got surprised by my batch of ppl. bought cake. as in i din expect them to get anything. van, rem u said tt u guys will make up for the promise someone din keep? u did lors. i was chao touched. thanx ppl. really meant alot lars.
distributed the cake. had to cut it into mini pieces but at least everyone got something. we gave the sec4s and sec1s too. hais.. the ger ventures r kinda biased lars. dote on the sec1s so much. haha.. who ask em so cute.
van was damn nice to help me lug my stuff to her hse to store lors. thanx alot alot.. i noe how heavy they r so im really really sorry. sorryy.. but thanx alot anws!! :)
tqi couldn't come cuz her grandpa fell sick. nvm. family's more impt. i understand how u feel. but there's still tmr.
went town wif nicol and ws to meet prick. then went to buy tix. got not enuff seats so din watch in the end. met nicol's mgs frens. twins but look so different. life's a mystery isn't it? then met up wif brendan, clarence and jia hong the new guy. haha.. can tell prick was q apprehensive abt meeting my ventures frens at first but in the end they were nice weren't they? hehe.. i've got lotsa nice ppl ard me. i'd betta appreciate. adopted 2 sonnies. clarence and nicol. haha.. so corny, so cute and totally cat high. hais.. anws, they were damn sweet lars. bought me a slice of cake and sang bdae song rite in the middle of marche. hehs. maluating but was q touched la.
then took neoprint. pretty gao xiao. my juniors and ws act got along well wif my frens. damn happy. sally called to wish me happy bdae. thanx!! :)very very happy!
took cab home. tokked to prick abt lotsa stuff. nice to tok to an old fren alone. hehs.. she understands. even if she doesn't she tries to. thanx alot mans.
now im like at home. haven even bathed yet. but im really touched by wad my frens haf done. really appreciate it. even such a minor thing as just making the effort to remember means alot. it's like one of the most meaningful bdaes i've had cuz it's one where ppl cared the most. it really isn't how many gifts you recieve but it's really the heartfelt wishes that mean the most.
even my gramps remembered even tho their like not well and all. even my parents bothered to take me out to celebrate which they hardly do.
