my lil sis is such a brat. an honest brat. asked her if she's been naughty today and she just ran away. haha..
ok. one'd realise that my blog's not exactly THE place for news updates but i'm still gonna say it anyway, WE'VE GOT GOLD!!!!! hahaha... matthew said that i can't stop grinning after the results were announced. can't help it. ~grinx~ thought the song sounded fantastic that day. the best i've ever heard em play. lookin at em then, images of everyone practising like mad for the past were just flashing through my mind. especially inlora's part. very very proud of her! and xian yue was exceptionally together that day. woww... ~grinx~ everyone gave alot. from last year till now. and the coolest thing was almost everyone was so damn calm it's amazing. worse part was when they left the stage and came down to wait for the results though. everyone was like analysing their mistakes and it was pretty horrifying. "howw??!! i missed 2 notes!!"- yao sheng. "wei ming cocked up abit and my ying zhun went wrong!!!"- benice. "i played wrongly for one part. hope they didn't hear"- wei quan. of course there were several more but we still got GOLD. haha.. and when we heard that vj and tj got only a gold we thought we might as well go kiss lao shi's ass and we were practically grabbing onto each other for dear life. so, when we got the gold it was especially satisfying. heheheheeee... ~grinx~ so benice and sarah, the judges were blessed with good hearing, eyesight and taste afterall and we didn't have to go smash their cars eh?
oh and i met sally. my cute persussion/yang qin guy's now in nj!! and he's bloody younger than me. this is not good. i'm becoming damn michael jackson. sobs.. and according to sally, her nj tanbo section now refers to me as his stalker. saddd...
you know, from other people's competition and ours, i've learnt several things:
1. so what if you started off later, hardwork makes up for lost time.
2. start early and go slowly but surely. you'll never be wrong.
3. set a goal. high but attainable so that IF you fall, your bum won't hurt that much.
4. no complacency. even the best still have space for improvement. being over-confident will only get yourself ridiculed.
5. sacrifices have to be made.
6. working together make makes the results better and sufferings easier to endure.
7. trust and respect the man in-charge.
8. suffer now, play later!! like now we're planning what to do after concert and during the june hols!!!! hahaha..
yea. that's all. co rocks! totally. definitely. GOLD.
