yeas. notice the banners i've added onto the blog. guess it raises awareness and makes us realise we're pretty lucky to be here. reminds me of my lil sis. my mom cut out this pic of a nigerian kid looking so starved cuz he had nothing to eat but leaves and grass to keep him alive. my sis saw it and cried and insisted my mom hid the pic. now THAT's awareness. would you have known such people exists if not for organisations and photos and interviews? sorry but truth is, these organisations, photos, interviews and whatever requires money. that's pretty fair exchange for more funding and aid and letting the rest of us lucky fucks out here realise how luck and fortunate we are. without these, we would be spending every lil bit we have instead of sparing a thought for the less fortunate. without these those sad people in africa will be deeper in debt than they are now. if those dense and superficial people need big-shot movie stars to convey the severity of the situation to them or hell, just make them donate, then yea, why not. it's a fair exchange. do you think the poor kids in africa cares how the money came about? no dammit. when you're starving, stripped of dignity and half-dying, who gives a bloody fuck?
