i can now finally say that i've watch shen diao xia lu!! haha.. i'm no longer the frog in the well. i must say i didn't like it as much as she diao. too mushy and i felt some parts were missing. like some scenes were too sudden and some things weren't explained properly. still, it was touching. and the scenery was breathtaking. hehs.. oh yea. carrie said something very mean! she said the show in modern times would be a story about a kind hearted guy with diabetes and a pure prostitute. damn bad lors! bleahh..
today's biophysical environment of s'pore lect was shit. the lecturer had a chinese accent which ain't that bad. but there're so many people making fun of it. and people just wouldn't shut up. well, didn't they teach you in primary school? if you wanna talk then don't come to class. a farking nuisance. besides there's something i don't understand about many singaporeans. they're so intimidated by native english speakers and their oh-so-perfect english and white skin but when it comes to people who're poorer in the languange like indians or chinese mainlanders, they'll start sniggering at all the faults they make (even though they're not much better themselves). don't get me started on ugly singaporeans. if you say singapore's really a gracious society, lemme tell you. far from it.
in any case, general bio lect today was good. the topic was very interesting and the lecturer has lots of experience to share. plus he tries to make jokes which makes him more engaging. haha.. though they're pretty typical sci fac jokes. the lecture notes were good. so we didn't have to copy much. and he let us off really early! haha.. i could stay till the end of the lect for once! heex!
leon and david visited today. i hope more people visits! i like bringing people around cause i think the arts atmosphere is really nice. (((:
