i wonder how some people ever made it to uni with the standard of english they have. i mean singlish aside, what's with the bad grammar man? even my sis can differentiate singular and plural for goodness sake. blah.
in any case, i feel that it's pretty hard to be effectively bllingual. once you spend time with one langauge you lose touch with the other. and either way, i don't think it's a good tradeoff. most people around me may think that english is the more 'important' language. true. it's a universal language. but it's also a bastardised language.
on the other hand, chinese is either often associated with the 'lower class' or the PRCs in singapore. so? to me, it's soft and melodious and the language of my roots. hehs..
ok. enough of language. gimme some As man. i've been getting quite a few Bs recently. sighh..
