i swear my mom's going bonkers. maybe it's menopause or something. one day she'll be like bright and cheery and all smiles then the next day she'll come rushing into my room screaming about something she previously had no problems with. it's like a total wtf? kinda experience.
well, today's a pretty upsetting day altogether. i've always wondered why is it that the closer you are to someone the more you take that person forgranted? admittedly, i'm guilty of it once in awhile but i try my best. some don't even try. that's just a darn screwed up thinking. and yes. i really hate mood swings. i get them but i don't show them. receiving inconsistent treatment from people, especially those you're pretty close to is damn confusing and sucks. that's why. if you're prone to mood swings keep it in. i'll tolerate it if you're important to me. but otherwise, just piss off.
yesterday was much better. went to carnivore with yuan zhen, josh and wei cheng (aka the arts camp photog and pocky boy). omg. carnivore is scary la. they have waiters walking around with skewers of meat, trying to convince you to eat more. ewww.. i swear there's still remnants of meat floating around in my stomach now. but, the food was good! and the company was quite funny as well. josh and pocky boy said and did lots of strange things. like recounting stories from their delinquent secondary school days to sucking air from helium balloons to eating bloody meat. haha.. yuan zhen and i almost died laughing (especially so when our stomachs were bursting). walking joke books man. tsktskk..
then i took a trip down to haw par villa. the last time i went was around 4 or 5 and it brought back some vague memories. the boat ride thing which i remembered eating an apple on is now gone, filled up with cement. the long dragon? only a small part of the body was to be seen. basically it's a pretty sorry looking place now. bits of cement falling away from statues to reveal the underlying rusted metal wires. moss and weeds growing everywhere. paint flaking. in the 10 courts of hell where there is cover, the cobwebs were huge man. wei cheng was saying that stb should do something to it instead of letting the place rot like this. it'd be good for the younger generation to know more about the chinese culture eh? haha.. still, it's a nice place to picnic, it being breezy and a place where old memories live and all.
THEN, i went back to sengkang where my folks picked me up and we all went down to toa payoh to this restaurant called suki sakura for buffet since it was my mom's birthday. the place is nice la! so much food and so much variety! slurps! but yeas. too bad i was bursting. if not i'd have eaten more. i'm still suffering from the effects of the buffets more than 24hours later. so depressing! i hate constipation mans.
ok. shall end here. tired and i guess it'll be a long day tomorrow. jem's back from canada and we're bringing him around for a bit. yeaps.
