went for orange bowl at sn todayy!! haha.. i LOVE orange bowl!! but guess what?? I FORGOT TO ASK FOR EXTRA CHILLIIIII!!!!!! ~faints~ never mind. there'll always be another time! sighh.. so many things in sn has changed. some stall holders have changed- like the western food uncle and now there's a chinese guy at the drinks stall (hearhearr! there's this rumour that uncle mobeen retired!), some teachers have left and new ones have come, the classrooms change etc. i can't imagine when the upgrading starts. will all the memories we've built around the school be torn down along with it to build new places and things for the younger generation to base their memories on now? yeayeas.. i know. getting old. but the memories of my time in sn will always stay. like the FANTASTICfantastic food, the friendly vendors, the indian 'security guards' (so unlike the professional ones we have now), the teachers (overly naggy sometimes but ultimately we know you care!), the wind chimes, the mirrors, the morning jogs, the MAJOR food and fun fairs, for those in my batch and before- XIAO ZHANG!!, the sisters who pray for us everyday, assembly and school and national pledge in chinese, sitting by the specs stand and sharing dreams and sorrows, the flora and fauna (remember the peacocks!), the friendships forged through the stormy age of adolescence... there are other things i wish to list but there are just too many. well, as they say, things and people come and go, but dreams and memories last forever. i bet i've written many a post like this but im feeling particularly nostalgic now. especially since i know my mom went out to meet her secondary school friends for a gathering today. hey, i hope 20-30 years down the road, the gang would still be meeting up and going for gatherings like we do now k? my special little request. haha..
oh yeas. arty fartyyy!! arts rag. getting a bit kan cheong already if the sheares hall videos's anything to go by. BUT I WANT ARTS TO WIN!! it's strange that i'd feel this way for arts though i've only been here for a month... ~shrugs~
